Great action tonight. Vanek is probably very upset with himself after that. He hasn't used Around the World in a while. He is doing better this year with just shooting in the shootout.

End of the 3rd period was disgusting, but I guess we shouldn't expect anything different from a Kerry Fraser game...
Imagine them pairing Fraser with McCreary or McGeough.

Weren't they 17-4-1 before today... Today's SO loss would make them 17-4-2...
Obviuosly, after wacthing the cluster eff of stats being imput during the 1st... It has to be the same guy writing this... Obviously, doesn't know how the game is run and how it is scored in the standings????

I've noticed some problems with the scoring in several other games today. The NHL has had a lot of problems with the website and stats this year.

After this afternoon's performance, I would expect the Sabres to really play hard next game.
Paille was solid today, he filled in well for Gaustad today. He was impressive both offensively and defensively.

All 3 shooters for Buffalo all looking for the same spot. Not a great move, at least we get a point though.

I didn't even realize that there was a game on till now lol. Hopefully the third period will give us the win.
And #%^$#! the NESN guys saying Savard is more deserving than Briere for the all-star game.
Briere deserves it more, stats don't always show who is better. Briere has been more clutch than Savard.

Great penalty kill by Buffalo. Hecht really took a beating from Stuart but he got the job done.

Wow good work by Vanek. Right after that penalty kill Buffalo had a faceoff in the Boston zone and Vanek is finally using his size to hold off big guys like Chara.

Belak's statement is a bit like what one of Montreal's player said early in the season that Montreal would break Buffalo's streak. Seeing that it comes from Belak, who plays 1-2 shifts a game for about 30 seconds or a minute, I'm not concerned about what he says. Same goes for the guy on Montreal, unless it comes from a captain or influential player, it won't do much.

I agree. The refs have been brutal tonight. Glad we got the win tonight. Marty was great for us tonight.

A lot of poor penalty calls tonight. The Sabres were doing well killing that penalty.
