‘Enroth was incredibly calm and played with great poise. His toughest saves turned out to be easy because he found pucks through traffic, or snatched them away from Rangers’ forwards before a play could develop. “He’s a cool customer,” Sabres coach Lindy Ruff said. “He doesn’t get rattled. He doesn’t get too excited.”‘

‘"I couldn’t ask for better timing," said the Swedish netminder. "My parents [Erik and Eva] are actually here watching their first game over here, so it was a lot of fun and a very special night for me."’
Roy back on skates, is encouraged
‘"It’s been nice to get on the ice," Roy said. "Today it felt a lot better than the first few days where you just move around and see how it feels. Today I took a big step, started skating hard and got my heart rate up. The knee felt pretty good, not good in tight turns and starts and stops or anything. I haven’t tried that yet."’
Sabres’ win a milestone for Enroth
‘"I’ve been waiting for this game for 2 1/2 weeks," Enroth said. "I just want to go out there and have fun, go out there and play my game."’
Gragnani’s defense leads to winning goal
‘"A good feeling for sure," Gragnani said. "I don’t think I realized right away I got an assist on the goal because I didn’t pass it. It went off me. Obviously it felt good and gave me a lot of confidence for the rest of the game."’
Enroth shines with parents looking on
‘General manager Darcy Regier addressed the media prior to the 7 p.m. faceoff and said Miller is listed as day-to-day with an upper body injury. Regier would not comment on whether or not the injury was a concussion, but said the shot he took to the chin area Tuesday night from Toronto’s Dion Phaneuf “did play a role.”’

‘The lone goal of the game was scored by Tim Connolly on a power play. Moments after New York came up empty on an odd-man rush, Connolly skated down the left wing and roofed a slap shot from the top of the faceoff circle at the 5:28 mark of the second period.’
