2 Sabres players report theft from hotel room
‘Forwards Drew Stafford, 20, of Minnesota, and Daniel Paille, 22, of Welland, Ont., both first-round draft choices of the Sabres and in town for the team’s training camp, reported to Buffalo police that an individual entered their room at the hotel and stole several items.’

Spacek Debuts With Sabres
'While Spacek is replacing Mckee on the roster, he doesn't necessarily fill the exact same role that Mckee did because Spacek's not the kind of big shot blocker that Mckee was. Spacek is more of a mobile defenseman. "I try to move puck quick, try to speed the game a bit," says Spacek, "I'm not a big hitter, I just try to play good position and create some offense and score some goals."'

'Larry Quinn is expecting roughly 10,000 fans to fill the arena Septmeber 16th as the Buffalo Sabres are to unveil their new jerseys. The arena opens up to the public at 9 a.m with free parking in the ramp and infront of the arena. Concessions are scheduled to be opened as well.'
