Sabres throw up a strong defense to beat Washington 3-2

Source: SabresFans.com

'Overall it was another team victory for the Sabres. Tim Connolly, as shocking as it may seem to some of us, has developed into a real leader for the team on the ice. Derek Roy seems to have settled down a bit and is starting to produce. Thomas Vanek scored another goal and Biron was fairly solid in net behind a strong defensive effort. Buffalo has earned 13 of 14 points in the last seven games and is on a definite roll.'
