I think in a situation like this, where you have a player looking for a lot of money and is an elite player, you can make a wrong step and polarize them. Darcy, to his credit, talked to him everyday and I think that is really what got (the deal) done. My part was simply approving the money that was negotiated. I think it was nice of him to say but this deal really was done by Darcy (Regier).”
