'"He's a devastating hitter," coach Lindy Ruff said. "When he hits, he hits hard. "He plays a fearless game. I think you need a mix of players, and he plays on the edge. He irritates people. He's hit some people awfully hard in camp, and there's times when he's pulled up and not tried to hurt people, especially people on his own team."'
