Mogilny sticks it to Sabres, but Belfour's the star

Source: The Sabres Edge

…JASON SPEZZA, PATRICK LALIME… Yes! Not a former Buffalo Sabre in that bunch of current Ottawa Senators. After Richard Smehlik was a plus-6, Steve Shields made 34 saves and Alexander Mogilny scored twice in the three most recent defeats at home, that's perhaps the best news the Sabres could get as they prepare for their meeting with the Senators tonight in Canada's capital. Of course, Ed Belfour, not Mogilny, was the one who really extended the Sabres' winless streak to 10 games, second-longest in franchise history, on Friday night at HSBC Arena.
