'A first-round draft pick by Buffalo in the 2002 NHL draft, Paille has yet to sign a contract with the Sabres. If he fails to do so by June 1 he will go back into the draft, but he says he’s not overly concerned about it right now. “I spoke to some members of the Buffalo organization in Finland, but other than that I haven’t really had much contact with anyone except to get tickets to some games,’’ said Paille.
