Sabres have something to build on

'“It’s good for camaraderie in the dressing room,” Briere said. “Hopefully, it’s (going) to get us going and make us more dangerous as at least a two-line, maybe a three-line unit that can score on every shift. That’s the way it was supposed to be in the beginning of the year."' … [Read more...] about Sabres have something to build on

Caps' Hajt flys high in Buffalo

'"He plays a lot like I did," Bill Hajt said. "He's not flashy. He's a defensive defenseman. His forte is playing smart, positional hockey and moving the puck. He's not going to be going on rushes or hitting guys into the boards."' … [Read more...] about Caps' Hajt flys high in Buffalo

Caps Blasted by Buffalo

'The Washington Capitals trailed the Sabres by two goals when Grier, engulfed in frustration and without a goal in 36 games since opening night, began serving his four-minute double minor penalty and 10-minute misconduct. Miro And Max Explode For Huge Buffalo Win

'No one was more excited to see the offensive burst than Buffalo goalie Martin Biron, who hasn’t seen much scoring support and was coming into the game a bit rusty. Taylor focuses on family

'Sabres coach Lindy Ruff had to dress seven defensemen Monday because he couldn't use Pominville and was short two other forwards. Taylor was at home, and leading scorer J.P. Dumont didn't make the two-game trip because he hurt his right hip in Friday's 3-1 victory over the Hurricanes. A night out at a Sabres game

'I can see the wheels turning now: how am I, a teenager on a very limited income, going to afford Sabres tickets? Ticket prices have dropped drastically, and now cost little more than the passe dinner and a movie. A Sabres game could be a great way to spend a Saturday night with the guys, girls, or that special sports fan in your life, and it only costs $15 a seat, for the … [Read more...] about A night out at a Sabres game
