This Day in Sabres History: December 16th

The Sabres run their winning streak to six games ? longest in team history at that point ? with a 4-3 win at St. Louis. Gilbert Perreault scores two goals, Gerry Meehan gets the winner with seven minutes to go and Roger Crozier returns from a two-week absence to make 35 saves.

Note: I want to say I am not up at 3:22 a.m. to post these things! SDS has some kind of autopost feature. Which is great, but the time stamps make me look like either a. a drunk or b. a lunatic.

You make it sound like being a lunatic or a drunk is bad thing. :D
