Rush Clockwork Angels at PNC in Raleigh, May 3rd!

I think the virus is airborne but it doesn't turn you into a zombie until you die (unless you get bitten, that is another way). Imagine the episode next week- if members of the group begin dying at the Farm's "last stand" ringing out Season 2, they could immediately come back as zombies during the fight. I think it is going to be mass chaos.
I am pretty sure that bites, scratches, etc kill you from secondary infections, then the virus reanimates you. The virus is definitely airborne, no other way to turn unbitten people into zombies...

I don't find her attractive at all and the fact that her character gets on my nerves constantly makes her even less attractive. I think Daryl nailed it perfectly when he called her Olive Oil. None of the broads on the show are movie star hot or really even tv show hot, although if push came to shove I'd rather ogle the chick Glenn is banging more than the rest of them. It's a shame Andrea's sister bit the dust because she was the best looking of the bunch.
Which kind of makes it more realistic when you think about it. Having this show with five supermodel women on it would be ridiculous...

I have to say I cheered when Dale died. Right after Carl he was the most annoying character. Dale wasn't as annoying in the books. In the books Dale died after humans ate his leg.
I have developed a Walking Dead hit list of characters I would like to see killed in the coming weeks.
Carl
Lori
Carol
T-Dog
Agree with the last two, they bring nothing interesting to the show at all. The wife is nice to look at, but I don't like her character at all.
The kid however can be very interesting, Especially with the idea that they have to keep him from turning into an animal. A common theme in the comics, as you know...

Back to back good episodes...
Two more episodes left, anyone what to guess what drives them off the farm? hmmmm..... ;)

Not sure what to think. I don't like giving up the one guy who is one of the tougher forwards on a team that is soft-as-an-egg-just-out-of-a-chickens-arse, but this is why I am not a GM...

Hockeybreak says Gragnani gone too.
Wow! I guess Darcy woke up from that nap early! This is the best news of the day IMO. I like the 1st for Goose though! Damn!

Right now, it's:
The Door into Summer by Robert Heinlein
Next up in the queue:
Valis
The Divine Invasion
The Transmigration of Timothy Archer by Philip K Dick

I thought the same thing, and the people I was watching with actually said that out loud just before the ending. Then we all replayed it.
Anyone else have an issue with the fact that AMC forced the Walking Dead fan group to sit through the first 20 mins of Comic Men or whatever it is called to see next week's previews? I was perturbed, especially since I got very little out of that 20 minutes...
Yeah, I gave up and went to bed. I kind of like Kevin Smith's stuff, but that "show" was freaking terrible. And I used to collect comics...

That was a great show. I was so shocked by the hayloft scene! I knew something was up a few episodes back when Hershel told them to not stay near the barn, but wasn't sure what he was getting at. I didn't realize that the show was over at that point, and was disappointed that the show is only an hour for the first time this season. Great episode!
Wait until you find out WHY they are in the barn....even BETTER!!!

So this is why I think it will not succeed long term. There just isn't enough room for creativity in a show like this. So what inevitably happens is entire shows become about one character. Some deep dark secret gets exposed and they spend 60 minutes on it. What is right about the show at the moment is characters come in and characters go out. The zombies have to win a few or it gets boring real fast. The attack on the camp where some characters were lost, folks decide to "opt out", the group splinters. That is what will keep it interesting. What will kill it, IMHO, is 60 minutes on why some character is afraid of the dark. And that day is inevitably coming. It always does...
OMG! If, and I mean IF they go down even HALF the roads in the television program that they do in the monthly series, this show will be the darkest, most violent show ever! Trust me on this, this show is ALL about how a basically good person before the end of the world struggles with how NOT to become an animal in order to survive. Even more interesting is the effect this has on the children. I won't go into spoilers, but the children have a hard time understanding the difference between what is right and wrong in a world where the surviving humans can be just as dangerous as a herd of walkers.
The zombies are pretty much window dressing, this show is all about characters. And while it is very clear that they will not directly translate from comic to TV, the writers have NO trouble offing a main character in a heartbeat! Much like Game of Thrones, any episode can have MULTIPLE people exiting the series...

First time all year that they let a team back in that I didn't get worried that the Sabres would blow it. I was convinced they would win even after the two quick 2nd period goals, because they actually appeared to be playing hard. The other thing was that they were actually playing good defense, blocking shots and keeping the Sharks shots to the perimeter instead of inside, in fact, I would say that the goals they gave up came on mistakes by the Sabres. Yes, the Sharks had to cash em in, but it seemed to me like the Sabres responded well after the two quick goals.
And it looks like we're finally getting some damn lucky breaks! How bout that first goal? Those were the goals that were going in our net early in the year.
An awesome win for sure, I am not quite ready to really believe they have the heart to turn this season around yet, but it's a great start. Let's see em against Pittsburgh and see where we are.
I think someone else here mentioned that Ennis reminds them of Roy with trying to do too much dipsy-doodling with the puck, which leads to turnovers. I really noticed this last night, henceforth, I shall refer to him as Derek Roy Jr...
-
Someone pointed this out earlier, Thomas always fights back against people in the crease leading to goals, so why don't we challenge him more, like Kaleta just did?
-
Keep it up boys, new game!
-
That kind of lack of execution on the PP is exactly why the Bruins crushed the Sabres in the Playoffs last year.
I'll settle for competent passing at this point...
-
Vanek can't buy one, and Sekera saves a goal right there...
-
I will face the puck.
It will not pass over me or through me.
And when I cannot see I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
In the net there will be nothing......Only I will remain."
Wow! Well Done!

Are any other out-of-town DirecTV folks NOT seeing the game listed on Center Ice? Usually by now they have any kinks worked out ... it's listed on 638 and 643 but those are supposed blacked out when you are out of market ... although there have been times I have seen games on them ...
As of last night, I am seeing the same thing you are. No feed for the basic CI channels (770+). However, I am in the Crapitals local market, so I get the game on Comcast Sports (629 or so) but only in SD. They have NBA on the HD channel. GRRRRRRRR!!!
-
No way Lindy makes the kid play back to back, right? We're getting la-la-la-la-laLAME?
-
thank GOD I got CI from DTV for free. I would literally kick myself in the ballz if I had paid 170 bucks for this crap...

Having never been to a game in BUffalo, is it normal to see that many accursed Loafs fans in attendence???
-
If this was a fight, they would have stopped it by now. A good ol fasioned Skull-crushing in effect by the Sabres...
Concerts you plan to attend this year
