So was anyone able to hear the "Let's Go Buffalo!" chants? Our group was 50 strong, and there were plenty of other Sabre fans around the building joining in the chant. Almost felt bad for the Hawk season ticket holders who probably have to put up with this on a nightly basis, but then again they invested in Hawk season tickets :doh:

Adrian Aucoin back in wearing the C, Havlat is out. I think both are good moves for us :D I don't know where we're sitting yet (tickets not in hand) but the local Buffalo bar purchased a block from group sales so I'm sure you'll be able to hear us B-) :beer:

I realize I'm pretty new on this board but since no one else started this one yet. This is one of those "should win" games. Obvioulsy Havlat makes a big difference in Chicago's level of play, but he is questionable for the game. 4-2 Buffalo....Max, Drury (2), Spacek(why not?)
I'll be there with the Buffalo crew! Can't wait to bring home the victory! Last time I was there I met Golisano, so Ill be looking for him. Listen for us :beer:

1. What are the boxes for under your screen name, and how do you change or get them changed? Are they ratings of some sort, and are you able to rate other board members somehow?
2. When I hit the little thingy on the board index to go to the first unread post in any given thread, it never works and always takes me to the 1st post. (Yes, I have previously been in the thread and read existing posts). That feature works really well for longer threads, and works fine for me over on TBD. Is there a way to get that fixed?

Main difference now is we win those games 4-3, whereas earlier we would lose those games 3-2...
I thought we were lucky to get those first 2 goals, otherwise it would've been another 3-2 loss.

"Hardest working team in the NHL" tag belongs to someone else. Might be the Pens. Both goals so far came as they simply out-worked the Sabres. Moore kept that puck in the zone. That's the type of thing that Dixon Ward use to do.
Let's see what happens in the 3rd. It's a 60 minute game, and Lindy will have them ready (I hope).

Yeah so I see, not sure who it was now.
How did Drury get that? I saw Paille sling it all the way down the ice from his own end. He's listed with an assist now - Drury must've somehow got his stick on it on the way down?

4 goals aside, Miller was stellar with the game on the line.
He was outstanding! 2 goals were 5 on 3 situations, and one was put in by his own teammate. He flat out won the game for us several times over when it was on the line. Deserved the game star!
NHL.com has Drury as the goal scorer.

Hes a call up that hasnt even finished hes first game, I dont think he will be here long enough to get in any dog house... and Lindy did it because he knew Vanek was a special player and he would respond, I dont think Ryan has done anything to show us he is special.
Hope you enjoyed your visit Mr. Ryan, thanks for playing. He probably won't be on the ice in the 3rd - he's probably already on his way back to Roch.

Yeah, I've got Sirius on now. Even the Comcast webcast is showing the Devils game. Something has to be done about this. We pay the Center Ice fees to watch the game of our choosing - not have them switch off on their own whim. :angry:
