It happening so often tells you the players could care less because there's no consequences to them starting out slow so frequently.
If your boss told you, the next time you come in more than 5 minutes late I am going to write you up and then the next day you come in 8 minutes late and nothing happens, how seriously are you going to take that "threat"?
Not very.
That's exactly right, there are no consequences because this coach wants to be liked.

So, does anyone know why Donny decided to get vocal with his team last night, up to and
including a second period timeout? Where was that all season? I can't help but feel that he's been told, that if he can't make a run... He's out.
Forgive me if this was already discussed.

I feel stupid for even thinking this team could get in... Donny has to go... Any players that don't like that can go to! Adams gets 1 more season and if they're not much better and in the tournament... He's gone!

Seriously, this team is identical to their coach. Boring and predictable. This guy is terrible at matching lines at home... See his home record as HC.

I'm not interested in the "youth" anymore, I think you can start flipping guys for proven veterans and overhaul the team. I'm not saying they all need to go but, relying on guys that may never pan out... Probably not a good plan!
On top of that... This team needs a proven head coach and GM. There should be no delay in this, as there are guys out there!
