I've felt a lot of animosity towards some of these Sabres teams the last 14 years, but I think I loathe this team more than any of the others. I guess more accurately, I loathe Kevyn Adams more than I have any other GM during any other season. After all, it's his ineptitude that is resulting in fatally flawed teams getting thrown out there every season as he tries to gaslight us into believing things are moving in the right direction. Good think we extended him. You gotta lock that down.

I was hoping to get some small, tiny bit of satisfaction from them finishing over NHL .500, but the bums won't even do that. Let's run it back, I'm sure next year is the year it all comes together!

The Lightning really are the anti-Sabres. Been good for a really long time and when they have a weakness on their roster, they quickly identify it and move aggressively to improve it.

Got hot for a couple of weeks, now they're gonna bleed out before reaching the finish line.

A regression to the mean is always just around the corner when things are going well with this bunch. Too many flaws. I just hope there aren't many people that got sucked into that little outburst and thought that they were "figuring it out." Come October, they'll be the same calamitous mess they've always been.
