  1. I remember seeing bits and pieces of that film as a kid. Barely remember any of it. Wouldn't know what you're talking about.

Nuts! Paille got stopped on the Penalty Shot.

It's a story about a woman that has to make a terrible choice about which of her two children would live. Like I said: Bad analogy.

The Swordsmen really poured it on in the 2nd, but still only lead by 1. I'm still without Center Ice, so I'm listening to the Columbus broadcast (can't find Rick & Jim). They're surprisingly neutral(-ish). They've mentioned the large number of Buffalo fans there a few times and how they wish they were in the Eastern Conference so that they had more games like this with out-of-towners in for the games.

  2. I've got deja vu. This is just like the game at the Panthers a few weeks ago. The other guys are just skating harder, creating more opportunities. Miller hasn't had to stand on his head yet, but there needs to be more intensity in the offensive zone. The 'Canes D is stifling.

  3. Can anyone explain that penalty on Miller? call or not?

Seemed like a good call, technically. He played the puck below the goal line outside the trapezoid. Ticky-tack? Sure. This game has been called a bit differently than the other 40 or so games I've watched this year. They seem to be letting a few hooks/clutches go, but that one was something I thought would be ignored.

I predict a parade to the penalty box in the 3rd. The Devils will be tired from playing this up-and-down stuff and will resort to clutching a bit more. Of course, I could be wrong.

  4. Mostly solid goal-tending from Miller with some sickness at the end. Brodeur just keeps keeping on. The zebras are letting both teams play. That really doesn't bode well for the guys in white. I'd score that one 10-9 Devils if this was a fight.

The crowd (?) makes it sound like a funeral home. What's with these people?

  5. Welcome to the land of NHL Hockey every night. What a great concept, hockey when you want it. Provided of course you are not within the black out radius of a team.

Shouldn't be a problem. I live about 3 miles from the Panthers' arena. Tuesday, I bought a ticket for $10. 11th row, and parking was free. I don't think NHL hockey is long for South FL.
