I don't understand the re-call of Makarov.

 

Let's face it the Amerks are in the playoff hunt. The Sabres have a game that is not important at all.

 

Let Makarov play for the Amerks and give Vinz that backup job again. What could happen...

 

a) Nothing. Knapp plays the game and Vinz is not needed

b) Knapp gets hurt and Vinz has to play.

 

Who cares if b) happens. This game is not important whatsoever. From a Sabres standpoint it should be way more important at the moment that the Amerks make the playoffs and that the Sabres prospects grow in a playoff series than having a backup goaltender who really is a goaltender.

 

 

I know I am probably the only one with the opinion but hell right now it doesn't matter if the Sabres win tonight or not.

It probably is the biggest game of the year. A win puts NY in 27th place and a loss puts them in 26th. A win can only be good!

I believe the Sabres will sign Callahan in the offseason! Maybe wishful thinking on my part but PLF wants people who want to be here and I believe if you throw a boat load of JACK at RC he will sign here! Do you TRADE for him? Only if he agrees to a contract! I say go after him in FA!

Ugh, no thanks. He needs to go. Before he signed his cash in deal I wanted him gone. He is such an underacheiving waste of roster space. Give me Brian Gionta on a two year deal. I would take 5 cents on the Canadian dollar to get him out of Buffalo. Great person, good locker room guy, completely inconsistent. He also lacks a consistent motor. He's 50/50 at best in and out each game.

I have been watching since 1970. Went to see them in the Aud, Standing room only, to play the Flyers. That said, I think I can opine about the game. This is what this forum is for.

I have been watching since 1975 when I was 5 years old, and I probably won't watch again until they are at least out of dead last place!

Pull the goalie...hope they have worked on this because the last few times the have done it, it has been hard to watch

For dinner it looks like it will be Peppercorn Seared Deep-Water Ahi steak with heart of palm-potato au gratin. I think I will start it off with a sashimi salad, some fresh oysters and a local brew!

Mamas Fish house in Paia for lunch. Think I will have the lobster guacamole, wasabi crusted calamari and wash it down with an Aloha B'ak'tun or maybe two or three!

Yeah Wardynski's are pretty damn good! You should try my buddy's homemade moose bratwurst! Made by hand with love, slow smoked with no preservatives . Just wish I had some Weber's! I need to order some i suppose!

Sammich. Whole wheat bread (not that great though, just mushy), Muenster, arugula, Weber's mustard, and Lebanon Bologna.

Damn I miss Weber's. Wish I had some to add to my moose bratwurst that I am having for dinner!
