  1. If this has been mentioned previously in this thread, I apologize I'm being lazy...

WTF was Grier thinking when he took the penalty against Kasperitis late in the 3rd period. If the Rangers would have tied the game up on that PP, Grier would have been the goat of the game. There is a time to retaliate and a time not to. Considering Grier is an NHL veteran, I would think he would know the difference.

After the game Greer mentioned that DK actually told him that he wanted to fight. When Green got around to challenging him, HE DOVE.

Watch the play again. It's was a blatant dive.

    Anyone surprised?

Hey, we play again this season. Payback is a motherf. . .

  2. yeah, that was them! how funny that one of them got busted. i just can't imagine get booked for something and thinking those two were my last resort.

ok guys, enjoy the game. it is moving quick enough to stay awake but time to leave the computer!

    GO SABRES!

.....wow, that was a great effort by the kid from Vancouver to score that goal.

I was at a wedding with those two guys. The other lawyers in town used to refer to them as "Before" and "After". It funny when you see how much they look alike . . . except for their hair.

  3. Did Smith not get tossed? He should have gotten an instigator. The third man in rule is bull #%^$#!. You're just supposed to let some punk jump your guy while he's not looking? Makes no sense.

This PP looks bad. Get Kotalik off it for a game or two and let him recharge.

    I agree.

Where do you draw the line? Depending how you look at it Tree did basically the same thing as Smith. They should both be out of the game.

  4. This is from ESPN's John Buccigross

"Look to move Biron and some prospect/draft pieces. Think about Glen Murray, Leetch, Bertuzzi, Adrian Aucoin, Martin Lapointe and other pieces that won't cost much. The Sabres need to be proactive, or the second half could see them plummet quickly, although perhaps Ryan Miller makes them immune to long slumps.

Verdict: Don't be afraid to trade a young chip along with Biron to get a really good player. It doesn't matter what position, as there are no gluts among the skaters."

I think he is really out of touch. No way Muarry/Bertuzzi will come cheap.
