Whether PLF was 100% or 0% justified in this move, which we can only speculate on at this point, I believe it reflects poorly on him to have not delayed this big splash until after the trade deadline.

Hey all,
Haven't posted here in awhile, but I thought I would share this interactive viz I made that highlights the top players from each draft class, it's a recreation of a piece the NYT did on the NFL draft.
It's available at: http://jsl6906.net/D3/NHL_Draft/
Cheers.

This is a hard team to be a shutout goalie for.
He has a penchant for allowing soft goals when approaching a shutout (not that it was the case tonight necessarily), and many times is noones fault but his own. A shutout is a shutout. I get the feeling that you believe that since the sabres play a wide open style, that somehow millers saves are somehow more important or meaningful than any other goalie's, anyways I dont buy it at all.

*gasp* god forbid, he has lost all credibility.

If our D wasnt pinching and creating odd amn scoring chances, he might have had a better chance. But not his best game.
Isnt that a part of our game plan every night?

Totally agree with you eleven, Miller is obviously the better goalie for the organization, but Biron deserves a whole lot more credit than most of the people on this message board give him.
-
had this been biron in net there would have now been about 25 posts here calling him a bum and breaking down how terrible he is.
-
biron wasnt only weak in the shootout i thought he wasnt very good at all the whole game. i dont understand why Miller wasnt in net for us tonite.
I dont think biron had a bad game at all, the shootout was a little shaky, and perhaps he was a bit out of position for the one goal (still not sure about that), but overall I think he played an overall decent game and made many big saves for us. I absolutely think he had a better game than miller did vs the islanders.
Also I agree with the kotalik thing, I personally would have liked to see max in there in place of ales

In my opinion, overall, Miller is the better goaltender. Everyone who is advocating riding the hot hand in net, just consider this, what if the team would be playing even better with Miller in net?
that is just ridiculous, of course everyone would like it if magically the team played better than it has the last 15 or so games, but what makes you think that putting miller in would do that, in my opinion marty has played just as well or better than miller did during the beginning of the season, and I think in general, the team has played better with marty in goal, although i think that was just the way things worked out and doesnt have anything to do with who is playing goal.
