Don't assume you are reffing 6 year olds. Mites are 8 and under, and if you have a high level mite game the kids can fly. My 8 year old is playing Mite AAA this year, and he is a far better skater than I am. He's not as fast yet, but it won't be long. My 11 year old is now officially faster than I am.

No matter where you took your team, if they had won zero playoff GAMES in the 11 years of their existence, and only made it to the playoffs once, they would have lousy attendance.
Separately, that was a nice win for the Sabres, top to bottom, in an arena where they've looked lousy for the past few years. I can't think of anyone who didn't play pretty well.
I'd like to think that they are NOT going to come home full of themselves and play Friday night like they feel it's just going to get handed to them, but I'm not that confident.
We'll see. In the meantime, no need to fire anyone tonight.

the sabres effed this one up. they had a bajillion chances and only scored one goal. lalime played good all game this loss was not his fault. he had one mistake big deal. everytime he plays our team plays like poop. his win loss ratio is not a fair judgement of his play.
