Ya that worked out well with Ville Drano.

Although i liked Kanes physicality I never really believed that he would sign back with Buffalo. He was to much of a bright lights type of guy.
Skinner I think is more skilled, not as physical but has a chippy attitude about him.
I really disliked him when ever we played Carolina. He always seemed to multi point games against us.
The fact that he waived his NTC to come here make me believe that if things go well this year for him and the team, that we have a good chance to sign him.

Unless Bailey brings the game he played in the AHL playoffs i think his days are #'d . Same with Baptiste he's a lot of Ennis with more physicallity.
Girgensons and Larsson need to go.
I have optimism for Asplund, Olofsson, Sobotka, Thompson and Nylander.

His first 2 drafts the 1st round picks we're pretty much no brainers. His trades for the period of time in which they we're made sense. other than the McNabb, Lehner and Pysyk trades which were lousy. The contracts That He gave to O'Reilly and Okposo were for to much money especially O'Reilly's
Maybe the Best intuitive signing he made was Rodriguez.

Nice to see Clarkson coming back to hockey relevance.

This just in: Zach Bogosian offically changes his first name to Crystal.
Now I'll post this to twitter and tag P. Hamilton and see if I can get blocked!

I like the player (under Nolan), like the term and money. I think Zemgus would be the type of player to thrive under Housley.

ESPN has doomed themselves with their political undertones. I watch sports as an escape from the every day world of political B.S. that we are bombarded with. Sports is still one past time that can unite despite any of our political beliefs.
ESPN never did hockey justice anyway so who cares.

Sully and Bucky are the worst, always negative and on the attack,
Paul Hamilton should go by the Surname Mr. Obvious

funny cause some of the best moves the leafs made were not additions...they were able to unload terrible contracts and if only GMTM would find a suitor to take Bogo and Moulson we 'd be a mile better offwh...I think we can all live with Ennis o is just so darn likable and a lot better then we've seen this past year
No not really; Ennis is one hit away from the retirement home!

Yup! Think I'll go have my callouses scraped tonight.

The guy has been playing w/ essentially a broken tailbone & also suffered a severe injury.
I've seen enough to expect him to be solid top 4 next year. Would rather it be here than elsewhere.
(Apologies to Gorges for the snark above.)
Having cracked my tailbone, I can tell you I don't know how the guy could skate period. I could hardly bend over and walked like I was in my nineties for several months!
In my opinion its not a good season to assess him as a player.

Much Love and Prayers Brother.

Nilsson can control rebounds. With Lehner in goal they scatter like candy being thrown at a parade.
-
Tim Horton and Steve Montador are still out.
Too soon?
So Cold..............But so funny.

Hawk's, top 6 because they can afford too, 21-25

Despite my efforts this morning on Tickets.com, I was unable to buy 2 tickets to The NHL draft on June 24th and 25th. If anyone has them for sale I am interested. or if anyone has a suggestion let me know. Thanks!

Try putting some grape jelly on your worm.
Thanks for the Monday morning chuckle!

Does anyone know what McCormick's standing is? is he on IR, does he occupy a roster spot?

I used to think Toyota Jan was pretty hot until she started gluing her hair to her forehead!! now I'm all in on ATT Lilly.

This doesn't answers your question but listening to WGR on the drive home yesterday they said Weber and Ennis were the only two guys on Sabres roster during their last playoff game. Now there is only Ennis. That's crazy to me.
Crazy in what way? in that there was mass turnover or that they did not complete it.
-
So with the Weber trade I was wondering how many player's are still on the roster from the November 11, 2011 game against Boston when Lucic plastered Miller. In checking we are down to Foligno and Ennis.
I'm wondering how many of you are thinking like me that the job need's to be finished?
Foligno to me is an easy enough piece to replace, Ennis however with his potential offensive production has me some what on the fence. he is an undersized player who has relied on his speed to keep himself out of injury problems until this year. If he is losing a step are these injury issues going to become chronic? Also we are weak at wing depth so can we afford to part with one of his talent level?

Woe to you, oh earth and sea
For the Devil sends the personal injury attorney with wrath
Because he knows the time is short
Let him who hath understanding
Reckon the number of the personal injury attorney
For it is a human number
Its number is 888-8888
Great... Then they'll take our buns like they take our water bottle caps. :censored:
