Just thought it would be a nice time to point out that Sekera is having a really nice week.
He's having a really nice season. With the possible exception of Leopold, Sekera has been the team's best defenseman this year.

How disheartening it must be for Myers. Makes a great move looks up to make a pass for a solid scoring chance and the player there is "Nieds."That was a solid shift for Myers. Thus far, he's played a good game.

He allowed many rebounds. I'm surprised that he wasn't awarded an assist on McCormick's goal.

After a quick phone call, I found out that Time Warner is having some troubles with Versus. Their timing is horrific.
Anyway, getting back to the action, for the second straight year, the Sabres have scored the first goal of the NHL regular season. How neat is that?
