The announcers on HD Net are terrible as well. Is anybody else close to writing this game off already? The Sabres are playing in slow motion again and have the losing look this evening.

It's official, the wheels have fallen off. Contrary to what I have said before, this is not a very good team. I'm not even sure trades can salvage what seems to be a total free fall.

Here we go again...I may have to delete my post from earlier as being too positive. Lydman should have to sit on the bench the rest of the night.

This has the early makings of a 3-1 loss for the Sabres. They have done nothing since the first and the pp is terrible again.

The shootout was weak. One of the least exciting I have ever seen from this team.

Above all else, we have to get the special teams going. It has hit the point where it is costing us games that we should win.

I realize I'm pretty new on this board but since no one else started this one yet. This is one of those "should win" games. Obvioulsy Havlat makes a big difference in Chicago's level of play, but he is questionable for the game. 4-2 Buffalo....Max, Drury (2), Spacek(why not?)

They just said Toronto will have the 5 on 3 again as Buffalo was the only team called for a penalty for that stuff at the end of the period.

I know it is early....but Biron has made some HUGE saves. Hope he stays this hot all game.

Now we get to play Toronto......don't worry, they only scored 10 goals in their last game.

We have fallen asleep once again......the special teams are total garbage and we are on the verge of letting another one slip away.

THe only problem is that there have already been too many "nights like this" all against Ottawa. Now Tallinder gets hurt. Let's forfeit this one.

Is there any way that we can revive that thread started a couple of months ago about how it all comes crashing down? I'm ready to respond to it now.

Buffalo D Jaroslav Spacek left the game with 12 minutes left in the third and did not return after blocking a shot. Ruff said he has a bruised left knee, but is not expected to miss any time. This is good news!

Spacek was helped of the ice after taking a puck to the knee. Hopefully nothing too bad......maybe just painful.
