BTW, I don't hear a whole lot of noise from the Toronto crowd. Maybe it's all Buffalo folks who are in town for the doubleheader with the Bills tomorrow, though. Or maybe the Toronto folks ton't care. Or maybe, just maybe, the Buffalo crowd wasn't as bad as folks said (although it's justifiably quiet at the hisbitch now).
I think watching the Sabres bores the away crowd into silence just like it does to the home crowd.

After last year's playoffs, the Sabres roster clearly had some issues that needed to be addressed. Darcy's response? He did nothing. Other than Leopold, we didn't sign anyone that other teams were really hot for. And we sure as hell didn't make a trade to change our team.
This roster wasn't put together to win the Cup. It was patched together with Darcy's usual half-assed, scared-to-do-anything-ever effort.

Sorry about the negative comments, but the first period had all of the makings of a loss. It is refreshing to see that maybe, just maybe the team is getting back to where it should be (even though we are playing Boston). After the past month or more...I'm sure there were many people felling a loss coming on as that is the way it has gone far too often lately.

Anybody know what happened to Spacek..the HD NET announcers said lower body and he WILL NOT return....anybody see anything? Also, Did Lydman ever come back after getting beat up?
