Are the Sabres holding each other accountable?

Source: WGR-AM

‘I think Jason Pominville is a very hard working, well liked player. I think he very much leads by example, but is he holding his teammates accountable? We aren’t behind closed doors so we don’t know, but they play like they don’t. The captain has told me more than once he doesn’t think the in your face type of leadership works. He believes in many from the core group having an equal voice. Once again, there’s nothing wrong with that if voices are being heard. Mike Grier made sure that players in that room held each other accountable. Remember two years ago when Ruff said more than once that he didn’t even go into the room. He wanted the players to figure it out. Is this group left to figure things out?’
