‘That says to me that Regier is going to get an opportunity, but he is under pressure to produce. I don’t disagree at all with Regier’s approach to this season’s trade deadline. Most deals for rental players at this time of year don’t work. If Regier wants to build this team and make deals in the off season that’s fine, JUST DO IT!!! I think this past off season should’ve been Regier’s last. Changes needed to be made and instead he just let two useful defensemen go. Somebody in Pegula’s circle has to somehow get through to Regier that this is not a championship team and there are too many fragile players on it. Don’t blow it up, just find away to get an elite forward and defenseman in here.’
