Sabres have had enough of Rochester

Source: Olean Times Herald

'The Sabres want to be a single-affiliate team again. Any hockey person will tell you splitting a farm team is a less-than-ideal situation and can hinder playing development. The Sabres have shared the Americans with the Florida Panthers the past three seasons. They brought the Panthers to Rochester after the lockout when they were short on players to stock the team. It was supposed to be a one-year deal. But Quinn claims the Americans use the dual affiliation as cost-saving measure.'
