Goals, anyone? (LetsGoSabres.com)

Miller Questionable for Wendnesdays night game

‘Miller is questionable after hurting his ankle on Bostons fourth goal in the third period of Mondays 4-1 loss to the Bruins. The injury occured as Brandon Bochenski fell down after a hit by Nathan Paetsch, contacting Millers ankle with his skate.’

Consistency an everyday concern for Sabres

'“We’ve been up and down, win a game, lose a game, win a game, lose a game,” goaltender Ryan Miller said after Tuesday’s practice in the Amherst Pepsi Center. “We’re hovering below .500 right now (13-14-1) and we’re not happy with our position so every game is huge. It starts to wear on your head a little bit."'

Miller hopes ankle won&#8217t keep him out

'“It felt good in practice but we have to see how it feels [today],” Miller said. “I don’t want to be thinking about it too much or have anything flare up. We’ve got a lot of hockey to play. I don’t want to get too crazy but for today it felt good. I was out there the whole time."'

New style, new Spacek o better results

'“We’re playing the power play in a different way than we played last year. We try to set up on both sides. We try to shoot the puck more,” Spacek said. “Last year, we tried to play more low and tried to go for empty-netters. Now, we’re shooting the puck and trying to recover the puck. That’s my bread and butter.”'
