Sabres Come Back To Win In Shootout

Source: WGR-AM

‘Buffalo came out quick in the third as Paul Gaustad tied the game just two minutes into the period. Vancouver took back the lead later in the period on another power play goal. The shot bounced off the back boards and onto the stick of Marcus Naslund who banged home the rebound into the open net making it 3-2. With Miller on the bench, Chris Drury would tie it with just 40 seconds left on the clock sending it to overtime. Jaroslav Spacek took a tripping penalty during the overtime, but the Sabres would kill off the 4 on 3 as the game would head to a shootout.’
