Gauthier claims spear was incidental contact

'Gauthier claims it was incidental contact. According to the replays, he wasn't even looking at Dumont when his stick nestled into the gut of the Sabres player, he argued. 'Numminen was diagnosed with a dilated aorta in 2003-04, missing five games with the Dallas Stars, but returning for the postseason.
