Esche Is Finally Beaten After Salvo From Sabres

Source: New York Times

'"We lost, 3-2, so I don't look at it as that good of a game," Esche said not long after Daniel Brière scored at 7 minutes 31 seconds of the second overtime to give the Sabres a 1-0 lead in the best-of-seven series. "I don't know how great it was. Obviously, I felt like I was in a zone. But you never feel good when you give up one more goal than the other team."'
