'Delmore is a somewhat odd case. He had 34 goals the last two years for the Predators – including 18 last season, tying him with Sergei Gonchar and Nicklas Lidstrom for tops among NHL defensemen – but just 2-5-7 totals in 36 games this season for Buffalo. How he'll fit on the B's is questionable, since Gonchar and Jiri Slegr already fit the “offensive defenseman'' mold, and for Delmore to play, he'll have to supplant an established player.'
