'The Buffalo Sabres announced Monday they have extended qualifying offers to 14 players, including defenseman Dmitri Kalinin and winger Ales Kotalik. The Sabres also gave offers to forwards Eric Boulton, Curtis Brown, Tim Connolly, Jaroslav Kristek, Norm Milley, Andrew Peters, Taylor Pyatt and defensemen Rory Fitzpatrick, Adam Mair, Jay McKee, Henrik Tallinder and Rhett Warrener. The Sabres also picked up the option on defenseman Brian Campbell's contract.'
