hopeleslyobvious Posted January 21, 2006 Report Share Posted January 21, 2006 In the Vancouver game, the Sabres were pressing hard. Vancouver couldn't get the puck out of their zone. They finally ice it. The new rules state no line change after icing, but because play had been going on for so long, there is a 2 minute commercial break. Seems to defeat the purpose of the rule. The same thing happened when we iced the puck later in the period. You would think this wouldn't be a problem, seeing that there are only 3 commercial breaks per period, but I have seen it happen a bunch this year. Lindy can be eating a Big Mac. McKee could be trying on his new sweater bought at The Gap. And Teppo could be compaining about erectile disfunction. :lol: William Matar could be on the Canucks bench asking Bertuzzi if he was ever injured in a car.
