Saber61 Posted January 25, 2006 Report Share Posted January 25, 2006 i still don't like ruff... but ill give him the respect he deserves... he's really been able to turn this team around... someone has to give direction... drury and the other assitant captains can't be doing it all. Even with some gifted offensive players, they've struggled to score, putting too much pressure on their goaltending. over the last few years thats true, ruff has struggled as a coach to deal with offensive players. but this year, for the % of it, we've had many players scoring as many goals as we need, normally, 3-5 a night. recently we're struggling cause our two top scorers are down and some of the guy's arent stepping up (though i am impressed with pomiville). remember, everytime we were down a goal we used to score enough to win, we won many games that way. im not saying your wrong, just saying maybe his changing. but he is a defensive minded coach, so how much do we expect. offense or not, im still happy with him as our coach.
