PTS Posted July 25, 2005 Report Share Posted July 25, 2005 I know the Sabres are going to change their uniforms back to the old ones or should I say a modernized version of the blue and gold. Any time the team officially spoke of it, I heard them saying they were going to do it after the upcoming season, however, looking at all the marketing (website, ads, newspaper letter), the current goathead logo is ALWAYS left out. The B with the sword is in though, from what I've hear the B with the sword will stay on the new blue and gold jerseys they are rumored to be working on. Red and black with the old logo would be ideal to me. That cartoonish B with the cartoonish sword (it's not even a sabre!) is worse than the goathead. EDIT: I just took a look at the site referred to in an earlier post. I do dig the Rams-style navy/gold color scheme on those logos. It looks pretty sharp!
