This Day in Sabres History :: August 7

Recommended Posts

August 7, 1992

The Sabres trade former Confederate General Stephane Beauregard to Chicago along with future considerations (a fourth-round pick in 1993 that turns into Eric Daze) for goaltender Dominik Hasek.

It was a trade that Shelby Foote referred to as the Trade of Northern Agression.
