Thats some hardass fandom there, usually reserved for the eternal perfection-seekers that hang around here.

SabreSpacer's are the most loyal and hard core Sabre fans and also some of the most knowledgeable. 

Tonight the arena will be filled with lots of fans who largely ignored the team for the majority of the past 14 years but are now happy that they returned to respectability.   And that is ok and on par for the rest of the NHL markets.   

UPL will not get booed and he should not get booed.  He is coming of his best season ever.   But there are skeptics everywhere.

With the Blue Carpet and all those fans if they came out flat there would be something wrong with these guys. 

No way they come out flat. I think they will be ready and that the last game left a bad taste. 

They do need to play better D — especially in the slot. 

I also think a factor that played a big part in last year‘s success that we need to see more of tonight and moving forward is our defensive stick work in stealing pucks and lifting sticks to prevent shots.
