Yea sure let's emulate the team we messed with and knocked out of the playoffs. "No one is messing with them" lol what bs. Jfc y'all not only have short term memory loss, you're literally still broken from Milan lucic. Another logical fallacy you might learn: Cherry picking. Nothing about the Panthers and their two cups the prior two years? 3 straight finals? Selective logic. No one said the Bruins were an overall great team last year but they have been in the playoffs 8 of the last 9 years (what’s the Sabres playoff appearance over that time?) with their philosophy. Your argument is shortsighted. Plus we were an overall more physical team at that stage last year than we are today. It’s a simple observation. We would be a better team if we had a forward who was tough, could intimidate, agitate and enforce when needed. That’s why so many GMs see value in finding that player. Malenstyn is a good player but that’s never been his game — despite the great fight he had last year. Edited October 3 by FrenchConnection44 1 Quote

Comparing the Bruins with Bergeron to the 2016 Sabres under... whatever gm it was then. "Look at how often the Bruins made the playoffs!" Your argument is stupid... and short sighted. Adding *insert tough guy here* to the lineup changes nothing, just ask the 2012 and 2013 Sabres. My philosophy is how you draft Benson instead of that guy Ottawa to that one year, can't remember his name. (Tyler Boucher) We'd be a better team if we had another top 6 forward on the level of Thompson. No one is intimidated by some 4th line guy. Edited October 3 by LGR4GM Quote

You are melting down because a guy stood up for himself and it wasn't "the right guy" to do it or something? A meltdown? you responding to my comment is way more of a meltdown than anything I said. I was just adding to the topic with a statement. So if we talk about something and a person disagrees with it, its ok to tell someone they disagree with that they are having a meltdown? Alright, got it. Quote
