dudacek Posted September 25 Report Posted September 25 Dude had 40 points 2 seasons ago. Not expecting much but might be better than Metsa, should be better than Johnson and wil be better than Gilbert. More of a Zellweger insurance policy than a Sammy. Crevier will be getting Mule’s minutes. 3 1 1 3 Quote

Ryan Johnson doesn't provide offense and Ruff has shown he has no time for him in the past. Quote
DarthEbriate Posted September 25 Report Posted September 25 It is nice to see a team with legitimate aspirations to contend (entering their Cup-window, certainly not expecting it this season) have a GM who immediately addresses a glaring injury-created issue. No dallying. No relying on a rookie. Just go and get a veteran you know can manage it for at least a couple months if need be. 2 1 1 Quote
Carmel Corn Posted September 25 Report Posted September 25 (edited) Wondering if we might see this lineup? Dahlin/Crevier Power/Timmins Grzelcyzk/Mrtka (or Metsa) Edited September 25 by Carmel Corn Quote
inkman Posted September 25 Report Posted September 25 Don't mind the signing. Worried about the health of the guys that went down. 2 1 Quote
Wyldnwoody44 Posted September 25 Report Posted September 25 I remember him being decent on Boston no? Like not a top 4 but definitely not a liability. 1 1 Quote
Porous Five Hole Posted September 25 Report Posted September 25 Nice depth signing. At least the Sabres aren’t pretending Ryan Johnson is a guy that could make the NHL. 3 Quote

SabresFan69420 Posted September 25 Report Posted September 25 Is jarmo making more depth signings like this than GMKA? it seems like jarmo prefers established nhl players as depth rather than one of the kids compared to GMKA. Quote

This makes me think that Muel could be more hurt than they initially reported. 1 Quote

Not true. Adams made all kinds of mid personnel moves. We just hated them all. all. 56 minutes ago, GASabresIUFAN said: No and small, but he plays hard. I respected his game in Boston. Mr Peabody Posted September 25 Report Posted September 25 If he’s as good at D as Metsa, its an excellent add. Nice to add a “cagey veteran” to the stable. 1 Quote
