Some players are overpaid, some are underpaid relative to the others. Quote

Professional athletes work much harder at their trade than most "normal" people do at theirs. Most people don't have the skills to be a professional athlete, and even if they once did have the skills, many of them may have simply been unwilling to do what it takes.
