Hoss Posted August 4 Report Posted August 4 Had the chance to interview Marv, unfortunately under the circumstances of Van Miller’s passing, and man, what a kind man. He pushed every word through a smile built on the love he has for the city, the team, and Van. There may not be another “celebrity” who understands the city and its people better. 4 Quote

I remember an interview with him...maybe 15-20 years in a row and someone asked him how he stays healthy and activ at his age (probably only in his early 80s at the time), and the first thing he said is, he won't ever, ever eat any fried foods. (obviously there is more to life than that, but just saying I remember that was the first thing he said) Quote

Porous Five Hole Posted August 6 Report Posted August 6 (edited) Where else would you rather be is an awesome quote and game day tradition. Thank you, Marv. I wish the full quote was used because it makes right here, right now more impactful. “All you ever asked for was an opportunity. You’ve got it today. Where else would you rather be, than right here, RIGHT NOW?!” (Sound up) Edited August 6 by Porous Five Hole 1 Quote
