Konsta Helenius: To what level will the Hell Moose be unleashed in 26/27?

I am going to predict right now that barring injury, Jiri Kulich has a better season this year than Konsta Helenius.

I don’t think this is crazy to say. I’m still of the opinion Kulich opens as our 1C or is there by November.

I went with 41-50 ... assuming the premise of playing a full NHL season. If he plays 80 game (or 75+) I think 41 pts is a reasonable number. 

He has great speed--His 13.770 AHL All-Star game time would have placed him 3rd in the last NHL speed contest in 2024. He has good scoring skills with IQ and a quick release on his shot. He has a good shot. He has a solid body size (5'11, 190) for his age and he should only get stronger. And he will be a year older. 

I can reasonably see him getting 15-18 goals and 23-26 assists. If he is even better or plays, say, on the #2 power-play line, he could go higher. So my hope is in the 40-50 point range.

Not at all disputing his body size you listed, but he looks bigger when I see him out there.

I don't think he'll be on the top 2 lines to start the season so I think a 31-40 point season is more likely in that type of role.

While I think you may be right about him starting on the third line, it's entirely possible that a third line of Zucker - Helenius - Quinn might feast on other teams' third lines... thinking back to when it was... Vanek - Roy - Afingenov/Pominville?

That would be awesome but I'm holding reservation until I see what they look like together.
