Haven't looked closely at the current (for about 2 more months) MOU as to whether it specified a set number of preseason games or not. Way back, teams were free to schedule however many PS games as they wanted. Under the old CBA (2012) teams had to have at least 6 presesaon games and no more than 8. The new MOU caps preseason games for each team at 4. So, to add the 2 extra regular season games, the preseason was shortened. 1 Quote
