Bad: Quinn - I thought coming into his 3rd year he was on the precipice of becoming a breakout player.  He started the year so poorly it was shocking to me.  Even though he gathered himself a bit and got better, he only reached the point total his 1st year.  I was skeptical he could be the player I imagined.

Good: Quinn - I was doubtful he should even return based on the massive let down.  He turned himself into a 20 goal 51 point player.  He's maybe not what I hoped, but his 25/26 campaign, has me believing he's not done getting better.

I thought Cozens was going to be our True Grit captain for many years to come.

On the other hand, I didn't see much in Girgensons, but, man, he turned out to be an All-Star!  😉

Bad - Corey Tropp, although the arrogant me blames injuries

Bad - Jacque Richard although his one season in Quebec keeps me defiant

Good - One of Adam Creighton’s early supporters

Good - I still count myself among the few that kept insisting Tage would be a star.

I’m confused by Adam Creighton.  Did I slip into an alternate dimension where he was good?

He had a 70 point/ 30 goal season with Chicago and three or four 20 goal seasons. Was a pretty good 2/3 center but ended up derailed by injuries.

I remember being disappointed on this one too.

There are some similarities with the Creighton and Cozens disappointments.

Tage was one I got wrong in recent years. It looks like maybe Östlund too. I didn't think he'd be any better than Rosen but I think I was wrong.

Both of mine were 2nd/3rd round picks from the same year...Justin Baily and Nick Baptiste

Especially Baptiste. After watching him in preseason/camp, I was sure given enough time to develop he (both of them actually) were going to be very good NHLers.

Me too.   Saw each of them play multiple times in Junior and thought they would be top line wingers

I bought into Cliff Pu as well.
