Travel does wonders for one’s perspective.

Yeah, when you spend time in other highly developed nations you realize that it wasn’t much of a lottery win.

Where we are right now with this self serving,  racist piece of sh!t is pretty close to as bad as it has ever been for this country.

TDS is real bro, you should get some help.

It shouldn't be controversial to say what I am about to say, but on this day of all days, I should be able to say it.

Despite all of our faults, I am glad to live in America.  We all won the lottery when we were born or moved here.

There is no need to qualify, "what I'm about to say". The Fourth of July is the epitome of controversy. The events of July 4, 1776 were so controversial, they started a war for independence. It's estimated that 20% of the population of the American colonies remained loyal to the crown, 40% were on the fence, and 40% supported independence. And yes, while it sounds quaint to recite "the price of freedom is eternal vigilance, in actuality, the only real controversy is dereliction of that vigilance. "No kings"...as true today as it was that first Fourth of July.

Yes. But we forgive you. Just try harder.

Don’t worry, November is right around the corner.

Oh I'm not worried at all. You should be  😉

Because in a free and fair election, the voters will express their support for Trump and the Republicans?

Or do you have something else in mind?

If voter turnout is the same as the Great American State Fair attendance, we're all set. 😂

My feelings precisely, as well,...to the second alternative (something else in mind). Namely: the biggest Republican wipeout since 1932, that saw them lose 97 seats in the House, and 12 in the Senate, and it got rid of Hoover too. But alas, you can't have it all in the midterms.

I'm sure the 100+ degree weather had quite a bit to do with it.

"Independent observers describe attendance as "depressed" and "sparse" due to record-breaking heat waves".

Not too hot for Patriot Front to parade around the city with their confederate flags, khakis, masks, and arm sleeves.

Those weren't patriots my friend. These " People" should be purged from society.

Spoken like a true _ _ _ _ _ _ _ .

Be careful what you wish for. You're already seeing the rot and loss of control of YOUR party. ZERO leadership.

Your next presidential candidate will be a bartender.

Ps

Let's move this conversation to a political forum so we can not only respect the rules here BUT so I can speak more freely.

Sorry to disappoint, but I don’t have a party. I vote the Constitution.
