dudacek Posted July 4 Report Posted July 4 Never heard of him. By the numbers, looks like a mediocre AHL tandem starter. Quote
Nacho Libre Posted July 4 Report Posted July 4 An interesting signing with a balanced viewpoint Quote
dudacek Posted July 4 Report Posted July 4 Seems like the sort of guy you’d pair with a young, inexperienced guy you have high hopes for, but aren’t sure he’s ready to be a #1. Not sure either Ratzlaff or Leinonen are that guy. Neither impressed as AHL rookies. 1 Quote

Levi was taking most starts and started to slide. I am pretty sure Leinonen is going to be the project goalie provided he is healthy and ready. Quote

French Collection Posted July 4 Report Posted July 4 Possible connection to Jarmo, Roest? I don’t see a past with Columbus or Tampa. He’s Canadian but the last name sounds Finn to me. He’s actually played 3 NHL games. Quote

A translation from Finnish to English of Villalta is possible to make however, and you get the frightening name "Matt from the wool". Think he was brought in especially for the Swamp Cats games. 1 Quote
