No as he's only accrued 3 seasons and is 22 years old, to be an UFA you would have to accrue 7 (play 40 or more games in a season) seasons or turn 27, whichever comes first. Probably a smidge under $8MM left on this year's cap. Before any other moves are made that is. Krebs is the only one left who definitely will get a deal. Still could see them grabbing Dunne again with the plan to have him in Ra-cha-cha primarily and then moving up if Danforth's knee didn't heal right & there's a bunch more injuries forcing Krebs to move up the lineup again. Wonder if Jarmo called his agent a month ago, asked what he wanted, and replied “all right, talk to you again July 4 after we see where we are”. His fans around would scoff, but Krebs was (is?) a decent offer sheet target depending on what the Sabres did with their cap. 1 Quote
