I'm not getting over this anytime soon. It makes me question Jarmo a lot.  If he is so oblivious that he literally hired the biggest villain in Sabres history, what other things might Jarmo be prone to do?  Serious lack of judgment or doing your homework.

I think it's certainly something a lot of fans will be filing away for later if this all blows up.

While I'm already over it, I hate that it was done.

Unless he is the Jesus of scouting, the right thing to do is let him go quietly. I'm sure another team will give him a shot. It just shouldn't be the sabres.

Or maybe the jokes on lucic. Maybe they're sending him to siberia to scout zamboni drivers 🤷‍♂️

Carrick, Stanley, Schenn, Bergevin, Lucic, Dorsett.   I’m picking up a pattern from JK.

I need more ***** on the ice, not in the front office.

Do not like Jarmo’s responses to the Lucic question in his presser.

So no reporters asked why they hired the player that threw this franchise into a tailspin due to lack of accountability on the ice and assaulting the only ex player to carry the torch for this franchise?

How is no Sabre holding Lucic accountable a Lucic problem? The franchise’s warning lights were flashing long by this point. Lucic just called attention to them.

Yes! Let’s celebrate our liberator who repeatedly embarrassed this franchise laughing at our players and physically abusing them on every occasion.

It’s not Lucic’s fault we had a bunch of pussies on the team. Nobody is celebrating him. If you don’t want to like him for running Miller, which, I’m sure if he were a Sabre and ran Thomas you wouldn’t have cared, then don’t like him. But Lucic didn’t ruin our franchise. He shined a light on how sorry we are. Nobody is celebrating him. Nobody will remember he’s even apart of the team until someone spots him on the 8th float of the championship parade

The Sabres threw themselves into that tailspin.

Today's Boston Globe says Marc Bergevin offered Lucic a bigger contract than Chiarelli back in 2016, but Lucic would not play for the long time arch-rival Habs.  They stayed in touch over the years.  Lucic reached out this year when he realized his playing days were over, "and the conversation picked up from there."

Sounds like a serious vetting to me. 🙄
