We’ll have to see how it shakes out but I disagree a team that was one goal from the conference finals shouldn’t be gameplanning to be a contender next year. And Kesselring would, with the other moves yesterday and today, be 8th on the depth chart at best with several kids a year or 2 away from competing for jobs too. That trade was fine. Not in a chasing hits way but in that "jfc not this guy again" way. He is a dog. Also the kind of guy you can start (in time) at the bottom of the roster and move him up if he meets his ceiling and if not he can be a solid bottom line guy. Just from watching a few of his interviews he seems incredibly hard working. The pull-ups corroborate that. I like this pick.
