Wow thats a really good point I didnt think of that The only negative to that is Nemec is an RFA so his rights are retained by Calgary Byram has one year left and is a UFA after, that is a big difference, now I would say Byram is a much better player then Nemec but the contracts are what they are 1 Quote

Absolutely, for any team with plenty of cap space and a window that isn't 3 or 4 years away. Also probably removes Calgary from the list of potential Byram suitors. Quote
